Healthy Habits Program
Healthy Habits and gardening is the "Mind" component of the Triple Play program. The Healthy Habits Too 10 week curriculum is designed to teach young people about the benefits of developing healthy habits such as eating smart and being physically active; equip young people with skills to adopt healthier habits by participating in fun and engaging learning activities both at the Club and at home; and encourage young people to take small steps toward positive behavior changes. This week we learned about Proportion.
Bring-It-On-Athon Recap
We are proud of all of our swimmers for participating, showing their team spirit and commitment, and for raising funds for our RSD swim team. This commitment and passion was shown throughout our team starting with our Grunion level, all the way up to our top performers, Oleg Nikolaev who swam 5850 yards and Rachel Rhee who swam 5300 yards. We want to give a special thank you to our amazing donors; we are overwhelmed by the generosity of how many people donated! Over 250 kids participated in the Bring it On Athon raising $47,000. sponsor shoutout

Thank You, TICOR Title
Our thanks and gratitude go out to TICOR Title along with County Manager Carol Burton and Account Executive & BGC San Dieguito Jr. Board President Caroline Hornblower.

Over the last five years TICOR Title has been a major sponsor and an integral part of the success of Jr. Board signature events Uncorked For a Cause and Horseshoe & Cornhole Tournament.  TICOR Title's support helps ensure that the over $400,000 in financial aide that we grant each year is readily available to those who need it most.
Hornblower's personal support of our mission, our fundraising efforts and our Jr. Board has been immeasurable. Her commitment to this community as well as the youth and family we serve is apparent through the countless volunteer hours she has performed at events, youth programs and with the Jr. Board. It is people like Hornblower that have enabled BGC San Dieguito to serve our beloved community for 50+ years.
Burton & Hornblower pave the way in highlighting TICOR Title as a civic minded organization who values GREAT FUTURES for all youth.
