The Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley officially published its 2018 Community Report in the Mid April edition of The Business Journal. This email contains a preview, but you can read the  full report here.
Our Thanks to YOU!
Last year was one of the most exciting since I came to the Foundation in 2013. Not only did we hire a full-time director for the Healthy Community Partnership and open the largest fund in organization history, but we continued working for the community and making connections to make that work more effective.

Thank you to all of our supporters, big and small, who helped make 2018 one for the books. Thank you to each and every community member for the role you play in driving the Foundation forward and informing our work each year. We could not do this without you and look forward to strengthening our connections with you in 2019!
The statistics below and infographics to the left highlight our activities from 2018. Whether you were directly involved in those activities or you're just learning about the Foundation for the first time, we want you to know what we were up to and how we are working for the community each and every day!

  • Half of the 14 new funds opened were permanently endowed, meaning they will exist forever as resources to benefit our community.
  • At more than $9.5 million, the Arnett Family Fund is now one of those permanent resources!
  • Two new microfunding events helped build a bridge between CFMV and the community.
  • CFMV's three supporting organizations granted $250k+ to eight collaborative, resident-driven projects put forth by the Healthy Community Partnership's action teams.
