Women's History Month, observed in March, is a dedicated time to honor the countless contributions and achievements of women throughout history. Additionally, International Women's Day, celebrated on March 8th, is a global day of recognition and action for women's rights and gender equality.

Both serve as a reminder of the vital roles women have played in various fields such as science, politics, arts, and social justice. By recognizing these achievements, Women's History Month aims to inspire and educate people about the ongoing struggle for gender equality and the importance of women's rights. They also serve as a call to action for accelerating gender parity.

How to Subscribe to the Library's Calendar:

GOOGLE CALENDAR & ANDROID

• On your computer or Android device, open Google Calendar.
• One the left, next to "Other calendars," click the + and select "Add to other calendars from URL."
• Enter https://bccls.libcal.com/ical_subscribe.php?src=p&cid=10286
• Click "Add calendar."
• The calendar displays on the left, under "Other calendars."

OUTLOOK

• Open your Outlook calendar, and on the Home tab, select "Add Calendar > From Internet."
• Enter https://bccls.libcal.com/ical_subscribe.php?src=p&cid=10286 and select "OK."
• Outlook asks if you would like to add this calendar and subscribe to updates. Select "Yes."

IPHONE

• Go to the Calendar app on your iPhone.
• Tap "Calendars" at the bottom of the screen, then tap "Add Calendar."
• Tap "Add Subscription Calendar" and enter https://bccls.libcal.com/ical_subscribe.php?src=p&cid=10286, then click "Subscribe."
