Behringer-Crawford Museum has been all over the local news lately, with TV spots and news stories about our  Holiday Traditions @BCM which includes the 27th year of our Holiday Toy Trains, Wahoo’s Winter Wonderland animated display and the Department 56 ceramic Dickens' Victorian Village.

Behringer-Crawford in Frankfort for Award

Behringer-Crawford trustee Gary Johnston, Executive Director Laurie Risch and curator Jason French were in Frankfort to accept the Kentucky Historical Society's Education Award for last year's exhibit,  Korea: The Forgotten War.  The exhibit featured artifacts from the war and harrowing personal stories of local Korean War veterans.
Tot Tuesdays!: Harvest Fun
Tuesday, November 20, 10:30-11:30 a.m.
Get ready to decorate your Thanksgiving table with decorations crafted by you and your toddler. Tot Tuesdays!, designed to help prepare preschoolers for reading readiness and socialization, are held from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on the third Tuesday of every month. Admission is free for BCM members. For future members, cost is $9 for adults, $8 for seniors 60+ and $5 for children. There is a $1 craft fee per child. Free parking. Reserve spots for you and your child at (859) 491-4003.
Secret Cincinnati:
Talk and Book-Signing with Kathy Witt
Saturday, November 24, 2-5 p.m.
Did you know you could hear a free concert outdoors in the dead of winter? Conduct your paranormal investigation in an old honky-tonk? See the world's largest steam engines? Browse and buy animal skulls? Award-winning local author Kathy Witt will discuss and sign copies of her new book,  Secret Cincinnati: A Guide to the Weird, Wonderful and Obscure , a humor-filled travel guide that lauds the hidden treasures of Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Included with museum admission.
Polar Express and Holiday Storytime @BCM
Sunday, November 25, 2-5 p.m.
Each Sunday at 2 p.m. from November 25 to December 23, local children’s librarians will read the children's books "The Polar Express” and “The Holiday Adventures of Wiley Wahoo & Me!” Children can create a Christmas craft and enjoy hot chocolate and cookies. Holiday finery or comfy PJs are encouraged. Included with museum admission. Reservations required: call 859-491-4003 or email .
Homeschool Days@BCM: Pioneer Tin-Punching
Tuesday, November 27, 10:30-11:30 a.m.
Discover this utilitarian art of the pioneers who settled Northern Kentucky. Create your own piece of tin-punching art to take home. Recommended for homeschool students in second through fifth grades. $8 per student (includes craft fee) and $5 for adults. BCM members - $5 per student; free for adults. Pre-register by November 23 at 859-491-4003.
