For many older adults, finding the right senior living community can come with a sense of relief, safety and added convenience. The support that is available empowers older adults to maintain independence while having confidence that there is help for the things that they need. But as a loved one ages, additional moves may be necessary.
Knowing when it is time to move from one senior care community to another may feel challenging but it is critical when care needs change. One such move is from assisted living, where independence is key with some support to meet daily needs, to a nursing home, where an older adult can receive skilled nursing care, including specialized services like physical, occupational and speech therapy as well as wound care and intravenous therapy.
We’ve created a blog that speaks to this transitional time. Please feel free to distribute to clients who may benefit from this resource, especially if they have concerns about aging loved ones.
As we’ve turned our calendars to a fresh page and welcomed 2025, we wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you. Thank you for the work you do to keep older adults safe and thriving. Thank you for your partnership. We couldn’t do the work we do without you and are thrilled for the chance to express our gratitude to you. Looking forward to wonderful things this year!
