The weekend included a stroke seminar with a USA Swimming High Performance consultant, Russell Mark, a hike through the scenic Rocky Mountains,

The USA Swimming Foundation has had a fantastic 2015 so far! We have seen athletic excellence, increased awareness, and our programming has reached more people than ever before. Some of our most exciting accomplishments include:
- The announcement of a new USA Swimming Foundation Ambassador, Missy Franklin. Missy's commitment to our mission of saving lives and building champions is so clear and adding her voice to the Foundation's message will certainly help to increase awareness and encourage involvement.
- The exceptional performance of our National Team at the World Championships in Kazan, Russia, where the USA took home 23 medals. This performance is not only impressive in its own right, but sets up Team USA as an impressive force atop the podium as we head into the 2016 Olympic Games.
- The Make a Splash Tour, presented by Phillips 66 made a tremendous impact this year in Chicago, San Antonio, Louisiana and Texas. In Chicago alone, our involvement helped the Chicago Park District set a new record with a 25% increase in swim lessons - from 20,000 to 25,000!
The USA Swimming Foundation's Champion's Club members have been there every step of the way; supporting the achievements of our athletes, budding swimmers, and the organization as a whole. Champion's Club contributions have helped the USA Swimming Foundation make great strides towards our mission to save lives and build champions - in the pool and in life.
But our work is far from done! We want to provide more scholarships to get kids into swim lessons, offer more training to local coaches and swim clubs, and ensure that our National Team is in peak shape for the 2016 Olympic Trials-Swimming and the Olympic Games in Rio.

Paris Jacobs &
On October 20, 2015 the USA Swimming Foundation staff and Olympic Gold Medalist Rowdy Gaines welcomed a group of Potomac Valley swimming families for a lunch to learn more about our mission to save lives and build champions! USA Swimming Foundation board member Paris Jacobs and Nation's Capital CEO, Tom Ugast played an integral role in making this event succeed!
Thank you to those who attended the luncheon and for your support. Because of your generosity, more children will now have the opportunity to be safer in, and around, the water.
A huge thank you to Tom Ugast for underwriting the luncheon!
