Thank you to our sponsors!

Dear ,

On behalf of the USA Swimming Foundation, I want to personally thank you for your contribution in 2014.  We recently awarded 50 grants to our USA Swimming Foundation Make a Splash Local Partners, which was made possible by donors like you.  These grants will give 12,000 children the chance to participate in low-cost or no-cost swim lessons for the first time this year.  We hope you will continue to contribute in 2015 to help us expand our initiative and reach more children through our Make a Splash Local Partner program.

In addition to our grant program, we have some exciting event announcements to share, and news about out National Team swimmers who delivered outstanding performances at last week's Arena Pro Swim meet in Mesa Arizona.  I hope you'll take a few moments to read through our newsletter and we look forward to hearing from you soon!

The USA Swimming Foundation's Make a Splash Tour presented by Phillips 66 Dates & Athletes

4 States, 5 Athletes,

1 Very Important Message

Swimming lessons can save lives. Research shows us that participation in formal swimming lessons could reduce the likelihood of childhood drowning by 88%.

The Make a Splash tour presented by Phillips 66 seeks to raise awareness about the importance of learning to swim by taking this message on the road. Each year swimming's superstars come together to visit select cities across America to spread the lifesaving message of learn-to-swim. This year marks the seventh year of the Make a Splash Tour presented by Phillips 66

This June USA Swimming Foundation Ambassadors and National Team athletes will visit the following four cities across the country to promote the importance of learning to swim:

  • Freeport, TX- June 4: Cullen Jones & Rowdy Gaines
  • Alliance, LA- June 5: Jessica Hardy & Rowdy Gaines
  • Chicago, IL- June 12-13: Cullen Jones, Jessica Hardy, Conor Dwyer, Kevin Cordes and Rowdy Gaines
  • San Antonio, TX- June 22: Cullen Jones & Rowdy Gaines

We hope to see you on the road!
