Last month, the Borough of Avalon introduced a no-tax-increase 2024 Budget of $35.8 million

Mayor John McCorristin said “This budget advances municipal services, maintains a healthy surplus, addresses critical needs and pays down $9.5 million in short-term debt and capital projects”. The Municipal Tax Rate will remain the same at $0.206 per $100 of valuation. That rate is the lowest in Cape May County and one of the lowest in the State of NJ.
