Making Waves

Dear Ministry Partner,

The earth is the Lord's. Just as the spirit of God hovered over the water in the beginning, He is still moving today. Think about the wind blowing across the ocean. We stand and gaze or we sit and enjoy the weather. What we do not realize is that friction is occurring to amass that huge crest of a wave.

God is using His people to impact the world. He has given us the glorious Gospel. As we carry the Gospel, it creates friction in this world. We are told to be bold and very courageous. We lean on the promises of God that He will be with us wherever we may go. We are commanded to make disciples of all nations. Therefore, we go and we splash... training pastors and leaders; making waves!

It's official... I am planning a USA tour in May 2024 for 3 weeks with 3-4 staff.

Pakistan

Pastor J is a new teacher who desires to make disciples. Pastor E is energized by our time at the CCI Global Conference in Thailand.

Bangladesh

Pastor S has developed so much and the RD-ISC is glad that he is on the team! We praise God that these men have committed their lives to the Great Commission.

We praise God for Pastor D! He showed just as much grit getting to the conference as he did training with us. Here is Pastor D graduating through 3 years of training. And the other photo shows the students preaching in unreached areas.

Testimony from Bangladesh

"I thank our Almighty God that I was able to join the CCI ministry. In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Brother Sam gave me a book of BTCP to translate into Bengali. While translating the book, I was inspired by the mission and vision of CCI. I then joined the training, which was scheduled for two days per week, regularly led by our team leader, who is the Regional Director of the Indian Subcontinent. His friendly demeanor, teaching, facilitation, loving speech, and good communication all impressed me. He never hurt me, but always encouraged and motivated me. At the same time, I had the opportunity to accelerate my ministry work in Bangladesh. Even at the final stage, I was able to graduate and receive the CCI certificate for my hard work. I am proud to have completed the CCI course, and we pray that we will go far together."

Nepal

CCI Nepal was able to attend the Global Conference in Thailand and has this to say about the conference experience: "The conference was not only fun and refreshing for us, but also eye-opening to see what God is doing through CCI around the globe. We learned how to develop ministry teams and ministry partners, which helps us expand our vision and goals for the future. We are empowered and desire to get our feet wet, as the President stated in the morning message. We all agree to go further for His Kingdom to EQUIP LEADERS."

Sri Lanka

Course 1: Bible Study Methods & Rules of Interpretation is on order for 15 classes, praise God! The ground has been laid.

Bhutan

We look forward to new classes to begin very soon in Bhutan. Pray for these men; that the Lord will grant them strength and perseverance to diligently study and engage with the teachings of the Word. May the Holy Spirit guide and enlighten them, deepening their understanding of the truth.

Prayers & Praises

Nepal

· Pray for funds to design and publish the CCI Nepali version of training materials.

· Please pray for the 5-month Discipleship Training School starting this month.

· Pray for more teachers and resources to start new classes in potential areas.

· Pray for good partnership and networks with local churches.

· Pray for funds to start a library in our Training Centre so the students could learn the Word of God effectively.

Pakistan

· Praise the Lord for my daughter’s health improving!

· Praise the Lord for such a great time at CCI Global Conference and safe travels.

· Please pray for Christians due to persecution. Many Christians suffer great loss.

· Pray for new partnerships. That more TTWs and other seminars can be conducted.

· Pray that 2 teachers can be financially supported for full-time ministry.

· Pray for the families of the teachers and churches.

· Pray for CCI Pakistan. More students want to be trained.

Bangladesh

· Continue to pray for my safe driving. I have to travel for the classes at different places by motorcycle.

· Pray for our country’s political situation because big problems may arise with the upcoming elections.

· Continue to pray for CCI students, to know, understand, and apply their life through training.

· Please pray for the new church dedication.

· We are going to provide for 160 children before Christmas where we are sharing the Gospel. We want to distribute 200 blankets also. This is a big challenge for us, but we believe God will provide.

· Please pray continuously as the students minister to the unreached.

North India

· That poor students can be provided with scholarships in order to buy books.

· Pray for a good home for my family.

· Pray that the Lord would open doors to support more teachers.

· An open door to Kashmir in 2024

· We need God’s wisdom and protection.

· Praise God, the family was able to attend the Global Conference in Thailand.
