Dear Colleagues,

One of the great things about Lehman College is that there is always something special happening. Our events are crucial to exposing our students, staff and faculty to new ideas, relevant social issues, and entertainment.  As President, it’s my honor to attend as many of these events as possible. As you may well understand, it’s not always possible, given my packed calendar and numerous commitments. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t ask!

Event Invitations The best way to invite me is to first get pre-approval from the Provost or your Division Head, then fill out this internal request form.  You’ll see that the form asks for a program agenda as well as suggested bullet points if you would like me to speak. I also ask that you make the request at least one month prior to the event and submit all materials 10 days before the event.

Conference Rooms On another note, I also wanted to make sure you knew that my office keeps the schedule for two conference rooms on campus that you can reserve for meetings; Shuster 336 and Music 313. Please fill out this room request form to reserve a day and time. Note that in some cases, there may be last-minute changes that create a conflict. If that happens we will work with you to try to find an alternative space.
