MAKING THE MOST OF EVERY SQUARE FOOT

In this Schwenksville project, the homeowners felt their kitchen was too small, especially since it shared a wall with a dining room they rarely used. Their vision was to create a larger dream kitchen with an island spacious enough to include a comfortable area for sitting and gathering.

Our design expanded the kitchen into the unused dining room and removed the pantry along the left wall, allowing us to relocate the refrigerator and create an oversized island with an integrated table feature at the end—perfect for family gatherings.

Key Features

Custom island color: A custom Sherwin-Williams color was factory-applied to the island for a durable, high-quality finish.

Careful flooring integration: Removing the dining room wall required careful attention to detail to weave and color-match the existing flooring with the new flooring added in the adjacent front room.

Dedicated beverage area: A separate beverage station with its own refrigerator gives guests easy access to drinks without needing to use the main refrigerator.

The homeowners were very happy with the final design and layout, which delivered everything they envisioned for their dream kitchen.
