Friends and Colleagues,

It’s the season for colds and flu, and a newly identified coronavirus called COVID-19. No matter where you go, people are talking about the new virus, including at the home of Dr. David Di John, who’s an infectious disease specialist for the UNLV School of Medicine. In today’s newsletter, you’ll get a sense of how this George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences graduate -- he studied tropical diseases at the Walter Reed Army Institute for Research and completed a fellowship in pediatric infectious diseases at the University of Maryland School of Medicine -- educates his own family about how best to deal with this latest threat to global health.
