Family Fun Day!
Director Judi Carlson had the idea to provide some good old fashioned summertime fun for our clients in the form of waterslides, sidewalk chalk, bubbles and popsicles. Her idea came to fruition in late July and the kids' squeals of joy were music to our ears! It was great fun for everyone and we look forward to planning another fun day next year!

Many thanks to all the volunteers who helped out that day and a special shout out to Barry Deutsch and Boy Scout Troop 477 and the youth of St. Patrick's!

To top it off, we also gave out 500 backpacks the same day!

Thank you to all of our generous donors, including Sumeet Jain and For The Kid in All of Us.
Volunteer Appreciation Party
We postponed (and postponed again!) but on a beautiful spring evening under our new pavilion, we finally had our Volunteer Appreciation Party! It was a lovely evening and a great way to celebrate the hardest working volunteers you'll ever find!
Thank you!
We have so many generous community partners!

In May, Malachi’s benefited from the Georgia Philharmonic Concert For a Cause. Patrons made donations at the event and a portion of the concert ticket sales were donated to Malachi’s Storehouse.

In August, Chicken Salad Chick (Perimeter location) chose Malachi’s to receive the $1,200 in donations they collected at their soft-opening Friends and Family event.

Keller Williams selected Malachi’s as their partner for their Red Day, an annual day of service. They hosted a shredding event during which they solicited contributions of canned goods and money, all of which were donated to Malachi’s.

Malachi’s is the Charity of Choice for Iron Hill Brewery’s Dunwoody location, and we receive a portion of the proceeds from the sale of each triple chocolate dessert. Visit Iron Hill and enjoy dessert while helping Malachi’s at the same time!

Helping Mamas, a local non-profit, gives Malachi's diapers and wipes on a regular basis to give to our clients.

For the past 5 years, the Jessie Wallace Circle from Chamblee First United Methodist Church has donated over 15,000 diapers a year to Malachi's.

We sincerely appreciate each and every partnership!
Our New Website Launched!
We're pleased to announce an update to our Malachi's website! You'll find a new layout and pictures in addition to updated information. The new site more accurately depicts our organization as we've gone through many changes over the past couple of years! Go check it out!
Hunger Walk Update
The Malachi's Hunger Walk Team raised a total of $7,315 which goes back to Malachi's in the form of a credit to be used to buy food from the Atlanta Community Food Bank. This money goes a very long way as we are able to purchase food for the low cost of 16¢ per pound!
Thank you to everyone who donated!
Interns Provided Summer Help
This summer, the Atlanta Community Food Bank sent two wonderful interns to help us on Wednesdays with registering new clients and checking in existing clients. It was a huge help!
