Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, cleansing as His Bride, getting ready for His soon return as our Bridegroom-----
The Widow's Offering
Mark 12:41-44 AMP
And He sat down opposite the [temple] treasury, and began watching how the people were putting money into the treasury. And many rich people were putting in large sums. A poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which amount to a mite.
Calling His disciples to Him, He said to them, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, this poor widow put in [proportionally] more than all the contributors to the treasury. For they all contributed from their surplus, but she, from her poverty, put in all she had, all she had to live on.”
This scripture in Mark 12 was the message today (Feb 22) which Bishop Edward and his team ministered today at the Revival Fire Ministries international Church at BCA - teaching the church to give the widows mite offering. And everyone was joyfully giving - bringing true meaning to 2 Cor 9:7 - where the Apostle Paul wrote "Every man according as he purposed in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loves a cheerful giver."
They understood today that the GIFT and the JOY is IN THE GIVING - Doesn't matter the actual amount - but rather finding joy in the ability God has given them, enabling them to have something to bring to the treasure chest. For in so doing they are starting to break the curse of poverty, and this is helping towards Repentance to spread further across Malawi, and the nations.
For, even giving a little as a faithful offering opens up God's grace for a believer's advancement in abundance. Our Lord Jesus says in Matthew 25:29: " For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away."
The Apostle Paul wrote a number of times, that it is in Giving that we receive our Blessings.
Giving is also one of the main Kingdom Principles in God's Kingdom - and we can see that in the very well known verse - John 3:16 starting with the words: "For God so Loved the World, that He GAVE..." From this we can see that giving flows out of LOVE - and when we are motivated by God's Love and Mercy for us, we can't but want to give back to His Kingdom work.
For through God's GIVING us His Son as a sacrifice - not just out of His Abundance - but it was His ONLY SON whom He gave for our Salvation - thus it sure was a Sacrifice to Him - it hurt his Heart to see His Son suffer for a lost and dying world. But it was His Love for you and me - that motivated Him to do that.
And when we realize it wasn't that Jesus had to do it - as He wasn't forced by God at any stage to give up His Life through so much suffering on a cross !! Instead Jesus was so motivated by Love for us and honoring His Father's Word - that He wanted to do it, and thus was absolutely focused to go through it till the end. Jesus even mentioned at one stage that He could call 12 Legions of Angels to save Him at any moment - but He didn't want to do it - as it was more important for all of God's Promises to be coming into fulfillment - that He spoke through His Prophets and which was all written down (See Matt 26:53-54). It was "for the JOY that was set before Him that He endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." (Hebrews 12:2).
And knowing and understanding His Love for us, and the Pain and Suffering Jesus went through - should be our motivation to hold nothing back for God's Kingdom. It should be motivating us so much - that we want to give it all - like this Widow - mentioned in Mark 12 - she didn't just bring something out of her abundance. But she gave all she had. And that is what got Jesus' attention !!
Amount wise- it might have been so insignificant to us to even mention it, but to Jesus, this got His attention - that it even caused Him to call His Disciples, and draw their attention to it - ensuring that even years later Mark was reminded to write about it, so we could have these few verses also for our reminder today...
Thus, let us not take any of this lightly - nor just brush it off as irrelevant... But instead, come in humble obedience before God, asking Him, what we can give towards the advancement of His Kingdom that would really Bless His Heart, and let Him smile upon us - wanting to bless us back in abundance.
Like one of the Promises God made in Malachi 3:10-11 - that He will "open the Windows of Heaven - and pour out a blessing - that we won't have room enough to receive it" all.
The Apostle Paul writes in Philippians 4:19 that "...my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus" - showing that Paul understood and believed that nothing was impossible for God to pour out a blessing upon His People - according to HIS RICHES !!
We pray that may this also be an encouragement for every believer today - to not having to hold back out of fear of what will happen tomorrow - but instead to have a Radical TRUST in God's Promises, and take Him by His Word - and decide to give joyfully towards His Kingdom - like this church in Malawi did today - after hearing the message of the widow's Mite in Mark 12 !!
Here follows some further feedback from Rev Edward which he sent us recently. Please consider helping us to help him and all these Repentance Pastors on the Jesus Farms. Like the photos above shows - their Maize fields are now doing well - and are surely blessed by our Lord - even in the midst of drought in some parts of Malawi..!! For after Repentance Prayers, the rains came...
Repentance time today at Revival Fire Ministries international
Also prayed for Jesus farm support
They also gave 12 dollars towards Jesus farms
Praise GOD
We pray for provision
Hello Dear Pastor Jeff
Today went to Khonjeni farms in Thyolo. Some of the maize got destroyed by dry spell. We now hope for some maize and peas to survive.
Afterwards we had time to encourage each other in the unfailing love of GOD. We joined together by hands in prayer of Repentance. After that we prayed for rain. I then pointed out a cloud of rain. It then started raining
Praying and hoping for a good harvest still
GOD Bless you and the team
Mark 6 v 13
Its, raining cats and dogs in Blantyre. But no rain yet in Khonjeni at main farm
Repentance farmers want me today there to pray with them.
Repentance friend has sponsored me 70 dollars to go!
Thanks
This rainy season started on a good note for Malawi crop season for 2025 to 2026
This has been good for 4 Jesus farms in Balaka, Mpingwe Blantyre and Khonjeni farms in Thyolo until 3 to 4 weeks ago when Malawi experienced a dry spell that triggered some crops to wither with farmers losing hope for a bumper harvest
Most of farmers started lamenting of losing seeds and fertlizers budget as the yield may be low
According to Agriculture extension workers crops were also affected by downy mildew
Last weekend the new state President for the Republic of Malawi Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika called for intercessors to pray for more rains to come to resuscitate the crops
To National Repentance Malawi Ministry this call was not an alarm as every month we pray for good weather and rains, unity, economy as well as praying for Africa kneels, America kneels and Australia kneels including the nation of Israel
When the presidential came for us to pray for rains we had already prayed for rains and other cross cutting issues in Chiladzulu on January 15 during the 2026 Repentance programs launch
As of now we have a Repentance gathering for the 5 fold ministry intercessors in Lirangwe Blantyre at the road block
This is where buses and cargo to and from South Africa pass through before and after Mwanza boarder close to Mozambique
Intercessors are elders at the gates to check what enters or exit out of road blocks and the boarders
The Repentance gathering will take place on 24th February 2026. This will be at Bethel of Mercy Ministry by Pastor Beatrice
National Repentance Malawi is on the move to recruit and partner with other prayer and repentance ministries to broaden it's horizons to impact more communities with the message of Repentance
After that on 6 to 8 March we have Repentance prayer weekend for Malawi at Apostle Sellina GOD of possibilities church at Glenae in Thyolo District
In all these gatherings we are going to repent from 7 deadly sins from proverbs 6 v 16 to 18. We are also going to touch on personal, family and nationam sins - 2 chronicles 7 v 14
We are to pray for church and political leaders
Jesus farms Repentance ministry will also be on the agenda as we are going to have thanksgiving Repentance prayers for Jesus farms
This week started on a good note on Monday as I went to Khonjeni Jesus farms. When I reached the farm my spirits were low
But I got encouraged when pastors were working on the land and listening to Repentance messages on blue tooth speaker bought with support from the Global Day of Repentance. Praise GOD
The farm is very big and I had to clap hands several times to alert them on my arrival at the farm, 100 miles away from Limbe where I stay
I had to see on my own that some of the crop started dying due to dry spell
I had to encourage myself in the Lord and the Holy Spirit reminded me the message on the dry bones regaining life after GOD commanded Ezekiel to speak to the valley of dry bones
Our GOD is the GOD of the mountains and GOD of the valley !! He promised to be with us till the end of the age ! He shall never leave nor forsake Us
Before they took me to the tour of the farm I asked them that we join hands in a time of Repentance and prayer. We had to quote 2 chronicles 7 v 14
We had to speak to the clouds to produce rain
After the prayer, drops started coming and we praised GOD as I toured the farm of maize, peas and pumpkins
We left the farm while wet
I pleaded with Repentance farmers who are pastors never to lose hope but trust GOD through thick and thin !! Waiting upon the Lord for strength is the only way out - Isaiah 40 v 29 to 31
Since Monday we have more rains emanating from cyclone Gazani coming from Madagascar through Mozambique
Our GOD is never too late !! He comes on time ! We trust GOD for a good harvest of maize and peas in Khonjeni. For a longtime we pray for irrigation equipment - now at $900 in Limbe shops
At Gideon Farms in Balaka, Pastor Mind cried because of dry spells for past 3 weeks when I talked to Him on phone !! BUT: Now the rains are coming
He called me on phone today that Lord willing Tommorrow He will send ready pumpkins from the farm - Mark 6 v 12 to 13
I called workers at Joel farm in Blantyre that crop is improving. Praise GOD
At home the crops doing well too !! We have to start from our Jerusalem. Maize, Cassava, vegetables, peas and yam doing great
Jesus farms are not only a tool to feed the human but also the spirit as people are repenting and others getting healed of many diseases
Acts 1 v 8
We are training other Repentance farmers on their own in Lunzu Blantyre, Chikwawa, Mzimba, Nsanje, Mangochi and Mulanje so that they become self reliant
A hungry man is an angry man so goes the adage
Thanks Pastor Jeff and your team for support
GOD Bless you
Hello Dear Pastor Jeff
We thank GOD for last Sunday's Global Day of Repentance for Minnesota. Last Sunday we had great Repentance service in Chigumula, Blantyre. Many youths attended and sung praise and worship songs. They also gave me feed back that most people in the entire village are listening to our Radio Repentance program on Living waters radio.
This is an encouragement to us that the word of Repentance is reaching many. They are repenting and getting saved in Jesus Name !!
Some stopped prostitution, beer drinking, witchcraft and stealing among others. Families that were broken becoming restored. And the village is becoming transformed
Also in Mangochi the moslem town many repenting due to our radio Repentance program!!
Let's continue praying for rains !!
We are in second week of dry spell but GOD is good owner of rains. If rains come they will boost yield !
Today passed by labor office and found 30 women and men and we preached Repentance to them and they got very excited.
This evening they will feature our prayers on Mibawa TV which we recorded last week. Messages are reaching many !!
On February 8 we will have Repentance service at Bishop James' GOD's Revival church. We will invite the 5 fold ministries
On February 10 we are having Repentance service at Pastor Beatrice's Bethel of Mercy Ministries in Lirangwe Blantyre rural
On March 6 to 8 we will have a special Repentance conference at Apostle Sellina Gawani GOD of possibilities Church in Thyolo
Thanks for your prayers and support
Mark 6 v 13
GOD Bless
Please join us - and stand in agreement with us in prayer for God's provision for Bishop Edward and the Repentance Jesus Farms - and also for just enough rain to bless their harvest - and that they will have a great harvest coming up between March and April.
The National Repentance Malawi Ministry and team are continuing to expand - reaching more and more people all through Malawi for the Glory of God. And this is starting to make a visible impact.
BUT, The fertilizers, Irrigation as well as the travelling costs to keep these repentance Farms running, and also visiting the different Repentance Centers - to continue preaching Repentance and share the message with anyone - need to be covered. And this is all possible with the help of our faithful Donors every month!
Please consider making a donation today !
