Homes Tour Homeowners meeting

Almost all of the 13 homeowners attended the pre-Homes Tour briefing at the home of NWHPS director Sherri Summers (her Mid-Century Modern home was on the 2017 Tour). The homeowners are looking forward to welcoming tour goers into their homes on May 27th.

Please note: the map pin for House F - Malcolm House (story above) is incorrectly placed in the Homes Tour programme. It should be located in the West End instead of Glenbrooke North. The closest major intersection is 12th Street at Sixth Avenue.

This year’s annual homes tour features a selection of impressive architectural styles, including an Arthur Erickson-inspired mid-century classic in Massey Heights, a charming Victorian era Queens Park cottage and “that ‘70s house” on a quiet McBride area cul-de-sac.

2018 marks the 100 th anniversary of the end of the First World War. NWHPS is honouring our city’s WW1 Honour Roll and will feature tributes at various homes. The Royal Westminster Regiment Museum will open its doors from 9AM until noon to afford Homes Tour guests a rare opportunity to view artifacts that illuminate our city’s military history.
