District 4 Youth Can Receive Mentoring and Coaching with the Possibility to Earn College Credit at Morehouse College

Morehouse College Culturally Relevant Computing Lab serves as the host organization and community partner for the 2022 DeKalb County Office of Youth Services, Human Service Department R.I.S.E. UP Program. The theme for the program is entitled, “Computational Manhood”. DeKalb County males from 6th to 12th grades will benefit from mentoring, coaching, and instruction from Dr. Kinnis Gosha and a cohort of 8-10 mentors who are STEAM majors at Morehouse College. 

Program sessions will be held every Monday from 10:30 a.m. - noon beginning June 13th, 2022 for the duration of 6 weeks.

High school students that complete the curriculum satisfactorily and make a score of 50 on the final exam will receive three hours of college credit from Morehouse College.
