James 1:22-25 (KJV)
22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

To say I AM EXCITED about this THANKSGIVING would be a vast understatement-did I say..................

THANKSGIVING is the only holiday where one can truly just BE
THANKFUL-
THANKFUL to be alive and able to gather with beloved family and friends, WITHOUT the trappings of crash commercialism. Full stop/period!!!!
As is write today's sermon I exhort all who read this to
REMEMBER.................
REMEMBER where you and I came from-let me repeat:

1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
Daily, I am sad to report, I STILL watch the “political pundits/talking heads” on cable news-it is addictive!
I just shake my head at these “professional” annalists and “educated” elitists talk about the FAULTS and SINS of the opposing party.......................
HOW can ANY of US-YES US-YOU AND ME-DARE to criticize ANY other human being???????????????????????????????????????????

Again, in this wonderful season of THANKSGIVING, how can WE, as parents, demand PERFECTION from our children and grandchildren????
Have WE forgotten our own sins and MISTAKES that WE made and did?????????
My God, have WE forgotten the Word of God?????????????????????

10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
As WE gather this week in our homes, WITH ALL OUR LOVED ONES, may WE obliterate ANY semblance OF judgment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No matter what state of mind or dress, color of skin, POLITICAL persuasion and/or any religion or lack thereof, may each PERSON be welcomed with open and loving arms!!!
Just take “A LOOK AT YOURSELF AND YOU WILL LOOK AT OTHERS DIFFERENTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
