HealthStream password changes

Our HealthStream education platform is updating its security standards for user passwords. Aspirus team members will be required to reset their passwords and update them more regularly.

Know this:

Starting February 1, all Aspirus HealthStream users will be prompted to reset their password at login. If a team member has changed their HealthStream password in the past 90 days and it complies with the new requirements, they will not be prompted to change it again.

Passwords will need to meet the new requirements to be accepted:

  • 8+ characters
  • 1 uppercase letter
  • 1 lowercase letter
  • 1 number
  • 1 symbol (!, #, $, %, etc.)


Going forward after the initial password reset under the new requirements, all HealthStream users will be required to change their password every 90 days.

Share with your team members that they will need to update their HealthStream passwords. Instruct them to use the prompts while using HealthStream and to refer to the job aid below for additional help. These instructions are also available on the HealthStream Login Page.
