The emergence of COVID-19 (coronavirus) in Canada has understandably led to questions about how employers should prepare and respond. The Sales and Service Safety Association of Manitoba (S2SA) is committed to minimizing the spread of any communicable diseases and viruses and is taking the following precautionary steps:

  • S2SA will postpone non-essential meetings, training and gatherings or will consider alternative ways to conduct its meetings and training such as by phone, email or virtual meeting applications and will continue to monitor the situation for future decision-making. S2SA believes it is incumbent upon us to carefully assess all risks, and to do our part to help flatten the curve and reduce the spread of COVID-19. We've based this decision on information provided by credible sources, and we are implementing recommended best practices in protecting valued employees, members, and all those with whom we interact throughout Manitoba.
