Managing Stress in Children in Today's World
If you're anything like me, you've probably been watching and reading a lot about current events. It can be difficult to know what to discuss in front of our children, and how to answer their questions in developmentally appropriate ways. My son is in third grade, and he sees so much but understands so little about the context around him, but like any parent, I have to decide what he's ready to understand. Unfortunately, for this generation of children, never-ending technology around them ensures that they will be exposed to the world whether we know they're ready for it or not. Below are some resources for supporting our children through the realities of the world they will encounter.
