For frequent postings of photos and clippings. Here's an interesting article about a 1981 photo exhibit,
"Cheney Brothers Was The World."
The exhibit was created by Manchester Community College professors John Sutherland and Sylvian Ofiara. The title of the exhibit is a quote from a Cheney Brothers worker, who summed up, in those words, his memory of the "years when Manchester was known as the silk kingdom."
