Summer is here and campers at Mandala camps are thriving! Check out what we've been up to this week...
Rise & Thrive campers engaged in meaningful exploration of emotional awareness and self-management through the Zones of Regulation curriculum. Campers used regulation tools in a variety of real-world settings, including visits to the Pablo Creek Library, Sunshine Park, PetSmart, and guided nature walks.
Wander & Wonder campers explored Tillie K. Fowler Park and Washington Oaks & Garden State Park. They swam in the Salt Springs and splashed around at the beach. This nature-loving group also ventured throughout the Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Preserve!
Social Superstars and Connect & Create campers explored nature through art projects, practiced plant care, tended to the gardens around campus, and learned about caring for our Earth by conducting experiments. Campers also discovered the beauty of the Jacksonville Arboretum and Botanical Gardens.
We're thrilled to work alongside our friends at Hydaway Hollow to offer Horse Camp! This week, campers were inspired by the natural beauty of the farm, transforming leaves, flowers, and branches into unique artwork. Surrounded by horses and open skies, campers explored how art and nature come together to create magic.
