Businesses May Apply for Outdoor Recreation Grant


The Outdoor Recreation and Tourism Main Street Grant supports businesses that provide new outdoor recreation opportunities and improved visitor experiences capable of attracting visitors from outside of North Dakota. Requests can be up to $20,000. Applications are due Aug. 9 and the grant-eligible portion of the project must be completed by June 16, 2023.

1 Premier Sponsor & 12 Business Advertisers

Needed for 2023 Community Calendar


Businesses can reach approximately 16,100 Morton County addresses plus support an important civic project by advertising in the 2023 community calendar. There's one opportunity for a presenting sponsorship at $2,500 to include a logo on the front cover plus each month, both in print and online. Business card size ads are $325 each and are allotted on a first-come, first-served basis, two per month with 12 of 24 spots remaining available.

Donations make flowers possible


The City of Mandan is seeking a premier sponsor for the 2023 Mandan flowers program that brings hanging flower baskets and planters to Main Street and the downtown area. There are 20 poles with 40 hanging flower baskets on Main Street from Sixth Ave NE to Sixth Ave NW plus flower baskets around City Hall and planters along the north side of Main Street from Collins Ave to Fourth Ave NW.

Midwest Flavor Fest Planned for Aug. 26-27


Phillip Schultz, founder of Bisman Eats and North Dakota Eats, is holding a food, art and music festival in Dykshoorn Park on West Main Street. The family-oriented, all-ages event will be free to enter. They welcome vendors from across the region.
