New & Expanding Businesses

Huber Finishes in January

as Business Development Director

City of Mandan Business Development and Communications Director Ellen Huber is stepping aside in mid-January 2023 to make way for someone new to lead the city’s economic and community development programs and projects. She has served in the role since 2006.

“It’s been a great honor to be on the team propelling Mandan forward,” Huber says. She appreciates the sizable investments so many businesses have made to start and expand enterprises in the city. "Incentive programs help spark and boost these projects, but the businesses put forth the real capital and work," she adds.

Huber plans to devote time to family, re-charge and explore new opportunities. "Mandan has momentum on it's side. I look forward to someone who cares about Mandan with fresh ideas and energy continuing the work of assisting with business start-ups, expansions and attraction." Businesses seeking assistance with projects are encouraged to contact Huber as soon as possible to complete application and review processes prior to her departure.
