Thank you for signing up to our first ever mangrove clean-up this coming Saturday. This will be a fun and casual outing. Our aim is not just to implement a clean-up, but for you to visit an important part of Hong Kong's ecological environment. We hope that this will give you a better insight to our natural resources and the challenges we face. The Nature Conservancy will be joining us to share insights into their Hong Kong conservation programmes.

The timing is especially important, as much of Hong Kong has suffered from a recent surge in marine debris. Unfortunately, even though Tung Chung Bay is an area of high ecological value and beauty, it is not a government gazetted area and does not receive regular government clean up.

Please see the following arrangements and approximate timings:

1:45pm: Meet at Tung Chung MTR (Turn right at exit B. Meet at the bottom of the stairs (see below picture ).

2pm (sharp): Coach leaves Tung Chung to Yu Tung Road (5-7 minutes).
2.15pm: Briefing
2.30pm-3.45pm: Clean up.
3.45pm - 4.15pm: Sandwiches and drinks.
4:15pm: Participants make their own way home.

If you would prefer to meet us directly there, please make your way to this location for 2.15pm: here:
