Hi Mighty Men,

This past weekend, 69 men gathered in Manitoba for the Mighty Man Advance, and what a powerful time it was! The presence of God was undeniable as 35 sons, 25 fathers, and 10 single men pressed into a weekend of transformation, breakthrough, and blessing.

Friday Night – Encountering the Father’s Love

From the very start, the Holy Spirit moved in a deep and personal way. Friday night was a powerful time of encountering the love of the Father. Walls came down, hearts were softened, and men experienced the overwhelming love and acceptance of God in a fresh way.

Saturday – Challenge, Teaching, and Renouncing Iniquities

Saturday morning we found out who the mightiest men in the camp were. The biblical application was, like David and his Mighty Men, we also need to be men of courage and valour in this generation. The father-son activities included broomball, tubing, and cross-country skiing—which added to the fun and bonding of the day.

Breaking Generational Iniquity

Saturday afternoon, we had a powerful time of repentance and renouncing iniquities. Each man had the opportunity to throw a log into the fire, symbolizing the breaking of generational sins and personal strongholds. One by one, all 69 men took their turn, declaring freedom and receiving prayer. It was a moment of deep cleansing and fresh commitment to walk in righteousness.

Blind Trust Walk and Calling Sons into Manhood

One of the most impactful moments of the weekend was the Blind Trust Walk, where sons are blind-folded and place their hands on their father's shoulders - listening to the instructions and directions of their fathers. They learn that they can trust their father - and their Heavenly Father's voice to lead them. That was followed by the Mighty Man Talks—words of wisdom and truth spoken by the dads. The culmination of the evening was a sacred and powerful moment as every son was officially called into manhood and received a personal blessing from his father.

For the 10 single men who joined us, I had the honour of personally blessing each of them, affirming their identity and calling them forward as men of God.

Sunday – Communion and Sons Blessing Their Fathers

On Sunday morning, we closed with communion, sealing the weekend in the presence of the Lord. A beautiful moment followed as the sons took their turn and spoke words of blessing over their fathers—an unforgettable expression of honour and gratitude.

Testimonies and Breakthroughs

The testimonies from this weekend are already pouring in—stories of reconciliation, newfound boldness, and generational cycles being broken. God is raising a mighty army of men who walk in His strength and carry His love into their families, churches, and communities.

Thank you to every man who took part in this weekend. This is more than an event—it’s a movement of men being restored, equipped, and sent out to disciple our children and grandchildren.
