I can't believe that Winter is nearly already over and we'll be springing forward next weekend! Spring yarns are slowly arriving and I expect to have at least one new one to share next week.

Manos March Madness

If you are not a fan of college basketball then all the excitement around March Madness may not be your thing. This March, let's celebrate the beautiful yarns of Manos del Uruguay with Manos March Madness!

For the entire month of March, all yarns from Manos are discounted 15%. The sale is limited to the inventory I have in the shop...but I am well-stocked with tons of colors and fibers!

Central Coast Yarn Lovers Appreciation Weekend - March 8-9

The Central Coast Yarn Lovers Appreciation weekend is finally here (well almost..it's March 8th & 9th)! Five shops are participating this year in a less formal Shop Hop - no passports to get stamped - but each store will have gifts for all who attend! And you can enter your name at each shop for a special prize drawing at the end of the weekend!

During this two-day extravaganza on March 8-9, participants will have the opportunity to visit a variety of local yarn shops, each offering its own distinct charm and selection of premium yarns. 

There is a gift awaiting you at every shop!

More New Classes

I've filled in the class schedule for the next few months and I'm really excited about the new line-up! There are a couple of new classes and several repeats of customer favorites.

Ariel will be teaching Learn to Crochet starting on March 14th. If you haven't met Ariel yet in the shop, you really should...she's awesome!

And I'm delighted that Cambria legend Kris Gregson will be teaching her famous Fixing Mistakes in Knitting class again on April 5th. This is the most requested class, so you don't want to miss your chance to learn from an expert. Kris is also teaching the Learn to Knit Socks class that starts on April 12th.

I plan to share my passion for colorwork in the Doodle with Yarn class that starts on March 31st. Please join me!

In case you missed it, I launched a shopper rewards program at the start of October.

The Ball & Skein shop in Cambria is open Wednesday - Monday from 11AM to 4PM...closed on Tuesdays.

The online shop is always open!
