Thank you for joining us on our eleven-day Spring Fund Drive! We are exploring Mantras with the Master and will be gifting you six beautiful mantras chanted by Yogi Bhajan himself. The first mantra featured is Aad Sach, Jugaad Sach, Hai Bhee Sach, Naanak Hosee Bhee Sach. Japji Sahib is a beautiful and devotional shabad written by Guru Nanak Dev ji, recited from his direct experience of enlightenment. Japji begins with the amazing Mul Mantra, and the last line of the Mul Mantra is known as the Kundalini Shakti Mantra:
Aad Sach, Jugaad Sach, Hai Bhee Sach, Naanak Hosee Bhee Sach.
The mantra is translated as, "True in the beginning, True throughout the ages, True even now, Nanak Truth shall ever be."
 
Yogi Bhajan said: " The power is that of your mind and the power of the mantra will reach your mind and its stages of ecstasy, an experience of the human body which otherwise is not [felt]. That's why mantras are very important . " Yogi Bhajan, July 23, 1998
  
The Master on the Mantra
Yogi Bhajan speaks to the importance of the pronunciation of this mantra:
 
"It is call [musical]note-pressure. Note-pressure into sound-pressure creates a vibratory effect with the meridians. And that stimulates the hypothalamus and then the hypothalamus governs and rotates everything. Try to understand that, it is not something that can be made up. Because the combination is  Aad Sach, Jugaad Sach , Hai Bhee Sach, Naanak Hosee Bhee Sach - one-two, two-one-two-three, three-three, four-four-four - that's how it goes" Yogi Bhajan July 23, 1998 . He continues within the same lecture:
 
"Every word of the  mantra   has to be correctly pronounced. See the difference, watch this, ' Aad Sach, Jugaad Sach , Hai Bhee Sach, Naanak Hosee Bhee Sach' And watch these words, 'Aad Sach, Jugaad Sach , Hai Bhey Sach, Naanak Hosee Bhey Sach.' Same sounds, one sound is that which initiates, in an inaugurated way, the person and his faculty of personality unto Infinity. Saying, 'Everything is Truth, everything is a Reality, there is no non-reality.' It eliminates every non-reality. And finally, your personality and your presence starts working because it is a reality within non-reality. That can never change. And everything around you will change, you are the focus of that life. You are not body, not mind, not soul, you are the commander of it."


Yogi Bhajan elaborates on the meaning of this mantra:
 
"In the beginning you were True, through time you are True, now you are True, and Nanak True it be. There is no qualification of guilt, fault, or any other such association which undermines you. Some of your actions are good, some your actions are bad, but if you have an intuitive mind you can never have any bad action whatsoever " Yogi Bhajan July 23, 1998
