A Day of Discovery: 2025 Chisago County Career Exploration in Manufacturing Delivers Fun, Learning, and Inspiration
In celebration of Manufacturing Month in Minnesota, over 250 students from across Chisago County gathered at Splitrocks Entertainment Center in Wyoming, MN on October 8, 2025, for a high-energy, hands-on career exploration event that brought the world of manufacturing to life.
Hosted by the Chisago County HRA-EDA, this annual event connected students with local manufacturing businesses through engaging activities, interactive learning, and real-world insights into the industry. The goal? To spark curiosity, build awareness, and inspire the next generation of makers, builders, and innovators.
Interactive Fun Meets Career Insight
This year there was a Young Professional Panel, where students heard directly from rising stars in the industry. These panelists shared their career journeys, offered advice, and answered questions—giving students a relatable and inspiring look at what a future in manufacturing could hold.
One of the most engaging parts of the 2025 Career Exploration event was the interactive virtual game, designed to test students’ knowledge and spark curiosity about the manufacturing industry. Far from your average trivia challenge, this game blended fun with facts—covering everything from average pay rates and industry statistics in Minnesota and across the U.S., to quirky and insightful questions about the panelists’ personal experiences in manufacturing.
Prizes, Sponsors, and Community Spirit
Thanks to generous sponsors, many students went home with prizes, adding an extra layer of excitement to the day. From branded gear to useful tools and tech, these giveaways helped reinforce the message that manufacturing is not only essential—it’s also rewarding.
Our Sponsors support ensured a smooth, impactful experience for all involved.
Looking Ahead
The 2025 Career Exploration in Manufacturing event was more than just a field trip—it was a launchpad for future careers and a celebration of the vibrant manufacturing community in Chisago County. As students left with new knowledge, connections, and even a few prizes, the message was clear: manufacturing is full of opportunity, and the future is bright.
