"Taking Flight" Pitch Competition

WDBCCC supported the participants in the "Taking Flight" Pitch Competition of the Chase Minority Business and Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center in collaboration with the Equity for Black Women and Girls Initiative, administered by RCF Connects, a partner and contractor of WDBCCC.

Participants, all Black women, completed a rigorous 24-week workshop in which they developed the business plans they shared at the competition.

The event took place on September 16 at CoBiz Richmond and was part of the Sistas SOAR (Success Opportunities Apprenticeship Resilience) incubator program.
