2025 was a transformational year for Many Hands. From purchasing our land to celebrating on the land in the fall, we reached milestones that mark the beginning of a new chapter.

None of this would have been possible without the generosity of our donors. Over 200 donors gave close to $6 million dollars to help this visionary care model.

Thank you for standing with us—together, we’re not just meeting needs, we’re building a lasting community for those who need it most.

2025 was Transformational

SPRING

Today a Meadow, Tomorrow a Home!

You made it possible to purchased 94 acres just west of Ann Arbor on

Baker Rd, Dexter

SUMMER

Launched early farm & community programs on site which included:

Horticultural therapy work planting the first crop of potatoes in our community garden, which produced 150 lbs.

The availability of flowers for purchase from our prairie reserve throughout the summer.

Secured community partnerships and strengthened local support to ensure that wildlife always has a presence on our land, from deer, turkeys , butterflies to pheasants - in partnership with Pheasants Forever.

FALL

Your generosity raised enough for infrastructure work.

$2 million toward construction Phase 1

of our $10 million goal.

Celebrated during our Breaking Ground

event with Congresswoman

Debbie Dingell and our greater community.

Nourished our seven-acre monarch butterfly & prairie preserve with the released Milkweed seeds.

WINTER

Test wells were drilled with the expectation of the main well to be dug in 2026.

Laid the groundwork by growing a dedicated team and completing approvals on essential engineering plans.

Ready for the bulldozers next spring. Every dollar donated moves us closer to providing lifelong support. $4 million needed to start the buildings.

A look ahead to 2026

In 2026, we continue our drive toward Phase 1: a $10M goal. With 30% already achieved, we’re building on this momentum together — alongside partners, donors, volunteers, and community allies who share our vision.

Here’s what we have planned for the year ahead:

Infrastructure

Constructing roads along with a produce wash shed including wells for water.

Construction

Together, we aim to raise $4 million to start building the Craft House and 2 Homes.

Agriculture

Hiring a farm manager to expand the community garden and programs on site.

Presenting our dream

Strengthening our current strong local support by sharing our mission to organizations throughout our community and providing tours of the land.
