Preparing for the Season Ahead -

Laying the Groundwork

February at Many Hands is a month of quiet momentum. The fields may be frozen, but our plans are anything but. We’re gearing up for a vibrant spring and building the team that will help carry us into the next phase of growth.

We’re currently searching for a Farm Education & Production Manager to lead our agricultural work with skill and creativity, and a Development Director to expand our reach and support our long‑term vision. These additions will help us deepen our impact and welcome even more people into our community.

The cold won’t last forever. Spring is on its way, and we’re getting ready.

Updates On the Land

Here’s what's new on the land:

Scio Township is reviewing our plans, public meetings in March
Architect has completed the drawings with interior finishes finalized
Deer fencing is ready for installation in early April, thanks to Dexter Community Fund Grant

Upcoming Events

Dexter Knights of Columbus has selected Many Hands as one of the four organizations they are featuring for donations during the 5 Fridays of Lent at their fish fry gatherings:

Fridays: 2/20 - 3/27
Time: 4:30 - 7:00 pm

Family Fun Social Gatherings:

Many Hands is hosting a monthly activity gathering for our IDD families. Come join us for fun activities and socializing.

Wednesdays: 2/25 & 3/11, then the 2nd Wednesday of each month
Time: 4:30 - 6:30 pm

Dine to Donate: Grateful Crow in Chelsea

The Grateful Crow in Chelsea is offering a Dine to Donate event on Tuesday March 24 where 10% of the daily total sales for both Dine-In and carryout will be donated back to Many Hands. Check out their location/menu.
