Dear Friends,

Because of your remarkable support, it's Official our upcoming Pride Festival will be held in Downtown Venice on Sat., Nov. 12 in Centennial Park.

We are excited and committed to hosting a fun, family event. The Festival will also be an opportunity to network and to bring hope to the issues facing the LGBTQ+ community and our allies.

But wait, we have more exciting news to share. We have teamed up with the Venice Theatre to host, for the first time, a new show subscription, 4PRIDE@VT that will premier later this year.

Stay tuned for more details soon. If you want to volunteer and work on these events, let me know. We greatly appreciate it.

We are ready to get going and invite you to join us.

Last but not least, help us get the "word out". We will do our best to share details on our Website, Facebook, Instagram, and through email blasts. But that's not enough, we encourage you to tell your friends, social groups, neighbors, school and work colleagues.

Venice Wine and Coffee Company is a highly reputable wine and coffee bar, owned and operated by Tracy Silver, located in Historic Downtown Venice, FL. We are known for our fabulous selection of fresh roasted coffee and coffee accessories, as well as a wide assortment of domestic West Coast wines and international wines. We also serve a variety of sandwiches, fresh salads and homemade soups.

There's a daily lunch special that is posted daily on our Facebook page, and dining is offered either inside our bar, or outside on Nokomis Ave.

In addition, we have an adorable retail section with gift items, wine related accessories, as well as gourmet food items and a very popular gift basket.

However, what really makes the VWCC so impactful to Venice is our commitment to creating a space of community and inclusivity. On every third Thursday of the month, we host a LGBTQIA+ event where we welcome all members and ally's of our beloved community.

While third Thursday's are dedicated specifically to the Venice-area LGBT community, everyday at VWCC is open and welcoming.

As you're walking down the avenue - you can't miss us!

Our inclusive signage is clear that we welcome all colors, creeds, sexual orientations, gender identities and religions with open arms and love! Please feel free to stop by and say hi to Tracy, Richard and staff. And, while you're here, enjoy a hot or cold beverage of your choice!

Pride Concert in the Park Was a Huge Success!

Thanks to everyone who came out on July 1 for our first Pride Concert in Downtown, Venice at Centennial Park. A great location with access to a beautiful Gazebo, parking, local restaurants and shops – all within easy walking distance. Approximately 200 people participated – cheering on, dancing and singing along with Brittany and the Band. No matter from where you watched the concert, you had a great view.

Also special thanks to our volunteers, the Moxy Stardust Band, Venice MainStreet, Venice Chamber of Commerce, the Mayor's office and the community for making this concert a huge success. We look forward to next year!
