A hand-up and hope for a better future - those are the gifts the Bucks County Opportunity Council is delivering to in-need locals this holiday.
I t's our year-round mission to help individuals and families receive the support they need to overcome financial dire straits and arrive on the path to self-sufficiency.

Please consider a gift of $100 or more provide gifts to families in need of holiday help and for our programs all year round. Give a Christmas is a partnership with the Intelligencer and Keystone Opportunity Center.
Stocks, Mutual Funds & IRA Gifts
The Opportunity Council accepts gifts of securities including stocks, bonds and mutual funds. You are entitled to take a charitable deduction for the full fair market value of the appreciated securities held longer than one year. In addition, you will likely avoid paying the capital gains tax if securities were sold.
 
The Opportunity Council also accepts gifts from IRA distributions. Please consult your tax adviser with questions about IRA distributions.

Donate a Car to Wheelz2Work and $1,000 will go to to your favorite charity
Gene Epstein originally designed ‘ Wheelz2Work ’ - and now has offered to make a $1,000 donation to a charity of a donor’s choice in exchange for a car! 

The Gene and Marlene Epstein Humanitarian Fund will make a $1,000 donation to a charity on behalf of the first ten people who donate a car to BCOC’s Wheelz2Work between now and the end of the year, 2019.

Help for the Homeless this Holiday Season

BCOC's Street Outreach works with our most vulnerable neighbors. Spread some holiday cheer with donations of

  • Hand and Foot Warmers
  • Gift Cards*
  • Socks/Hats/Gloves (new)
  • Bottled water

*$10-$25 to big box, food stores, Gas cards or Uber/Lyft
