Get your lounge seats ready, call the family, break out the sunscreen and your dancing shoes and get ready for The 6th Annual Taste of WVON, Saturday, July 16, 2016!

People from Michigan, Indiana, Iowa Wisconsin, Missouri and Ohio, get in your cars and drive up to Chicago for a day of music, history, enlightenment and fun.

  1. Mentoring Black Boys from 10- to 18- years old Tuesday nights at 6:30 pm
  2. Teaching Children in 5th- through 8th-Grade Math, Reading and Writing, Thursdays from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm
  3. Teaching Black Boys in 1st- to 4th- Grade to Read every Saturday at 9:00 am 
  4. Teaching Girls in 1st- to 4th-Grade Reading, Writing and Math Saturdays at 11:00 am Reading, Writing and Math 
  5. Technology Classes for youth in 5th- through 10th-Grade on Mondays at 6:00 pm
All Classes ar FREE and will be at 3509 South King Drive, Chicago, Illinois.

Fathers and men will be at schools on the first day.  Fathers and men will volunteer for assignments in schools throughout the year. Fathers and men will ensure that children have proper learning environments in homes.  Fathers and men will take responsibility for the learning of their children.
