The Shir Chadash Tzedek Minyan wants to connect our Shir Chadash community with opportunities for helping others during this time of crisis:
- One way to do this is to support community groups who serve low-income people in the Greater New Orleans area in need of food and other life-sustaining supplies. The Sankofa Community Center is serving as a pick up location for emergency food assistance. Sankofa will conduct this as a curbside pick up with no visitors actually entering the center. To help Sankofa with monetary donations, donate HERE.
- This is a mutual aid group on Facebook, that has a huge amount of information about opportunities to help and also resources for those in need.
