June 17, 2025 (Lakeside) -- All of the red and brown areas shown on this San Diego County map are now under mandatory evacuation orders as of 4:20 p.m.. View the county's interactive map here for latest evacuation updates. You can click and zoom in to see major streets. This is the county's map which has more details than others.


The fast-moving #MonteFire is burning in Lakeside’s El Monte Valley near El Monte Park. A very large air tanker has been ordered, along with fixed-wing aircraft on scene.


A temporary evacuation point has been set up at the Walmart Supercenter, 13487 Camino Canada, El Cajon per Genasys. .
