Maple Road Reconstruction Update
Maple Road reconstruction is moving forward with several significant progress updates in the past week. Current work is focused on infrastructure including:

  • The installation of 150 feet of water main liner across Woodward is complete.
  • The final 50 feet of 12-inch water main between Park and Woodward is being installed.
  • 50% of the 12-inch water main has been installed between Pierce and Chester, with completion of 25% of the sanitary leads in the area.

The plans for next week include testing the water main between Woodward and Old Woodward to ensure services are ready for use, continuing installation of the 12-inch water main between Pierce and Chester, and beginning work on the fiber conduit between Woodward and Old Woodward.

We can’t wait for you to see the finished project! When complete, the Maple Road Reconstruction Project will mirror Old Woodward, creating a cohesive look in the downtown area that includes improved landscaping and on-street parking, granite bench seating and cell phone charging stations.
