Monthly Meetings
Cloverbuds

Cloverbuds will meet on May 9th at the Paola Office from 5:30-6:30pm. Cloverbuds must be 5-6 years old by Jan. 1, 2019

Miami County Jr Leader Meeting will be May 13th at 7pm at the Paola Office.

Linn County Jr Leader Meeting will be May 19th at 4pm at the Linn County 4-H Building
4-H Council
Miami County 4-H Council will be May 13th at 8pm at the Paola Office

Linn County 4-H Council will be May 22nd at 7pm at the Linn County 4-H Building.
4-H Enrollment

May 1st will be the add/drop project deadline and new member enrollment deadline . Reminder you must be 7 before January 1, 2019 to enroll as a 4-H Member. If you are 5-6 years old before January 1, 2019 you can enroll as a Cloverbud.

Goat, Sheep and Swine Tagging Dates
Important!! Miami County Livestock exhibitors look at the changes regarding tagging your animals under the Miami County Fair section.

Linn County Market Goat, Sheep, and Swine must be tagged by May 11th. Weigh-in and tagging will be May 10th 5-8pm or May 11th 7-8am at Linn County Fairgrounds.

Horse ID Certificates

You must turn in your Horse ID Certificates to your local office by May 1st. Certificates are available online at https://www.maraisdescygnes.k-state.edu/4-h/project-information/index.html

East Central District Horse Show

The 2019 East Central District Horse Show will be held July 9th in Lawrence, Kansas. The District Horse Show is a qualifier for the Kansas State Fair Horse Show. Exhibitors must receive a purple or blue at districts to qualify for the KSF 4-H Horse Show. Entry information will be sent via email to all horse project members.
Miami County Fair
New information regarding breeding animals
All breeding animals are to be tagged at weigh-in dates, with the exception of registered breeding animals. For more information
Goat Show moved
The goat show has been moved to Tuesday night following the sheep show.

Horse Show Change
The 4-H/FFA Horse show has been moved to Sunday, July 14th at 9am
Linn County

Save the Date- Favorite Foods Show will be Sunday June 2nd at 2pm at the 4-H Building.

Linn County Fashion Revue and Performing Arts Show will be July 27th at First Baptist Church Mound City. There will be a Committee meeting at 4-H Council on May 22nd anyone is welcome to attend.
