Exodus 15:13-21
God's love for the people that he had redeemed does not change due to circumstances or their behavior. It is steadfast! God had a plan to bring his chosen ones to be with him and there they will be! How could they be sure? Moses brought words of confidence and assurance when he sang, " ... you have guided them by your strength."

Moses speaks of God's "holy abode," which reminds us of Jesus' words from John 14:1-3: "Let not your heart be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also." How can we be sure? John was told by the voice from the throne that the dwelling place of God is with man, he will dwell with them and they will be his people. And furthermore, John was instructed to "write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true" (Rev. 21:3, 5).

"I will sing of my Redeemer and His heavenly love to me; He from death to life hath bro't me, Son of God, with Him to be" (From the hymn "I Will Sing of My Redeemer").
