Psalm 25
Shame, treachery, sins, rebellion, loneliness, afflictions, anguish, snares and troubles! Trust, triumph, hope, guidance, upright, good, instruction, humble, loving, faithful, mercy, integrity, graciousness! These words are used in Psalm 25 and they show such a contrast between life with and life without God. It reminds me of the hope, peace and love that God offers to us freely. God wants to show us his ways. God wants to help us triumph over the world and its trappings. God promises forgiveness and prosperity to those that fear him and follow his commands. God does have expectations for those he loves. Just look at the overwhelming positive results of our devotion to him. Why do we, as humans, have such a difficult time trusting in God completely? The world offers so many things to cause us to be full of fear and doubt. Stop. Reread Psalm 25 and gain the knowledge and faith to trust our God completely to instruct, lead and keep his children safe.

"Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long" (Psalm 25:5).
