Abraham's servant approached Laban about taking Rebecca to Isaac to be his wife. His response was, "This is from God ... we can say nothing for or against it. Take her and go."

But the mother and brother wanted her to stay 10 days longer. The servant did not want to be detained since the Lord had provided. They said, "Let's ask Rebecca." Rebecca was willing to go then. So they journeyed to meet Isaac. Isaac saw them coming and went to meet them. Rebecca saw the man and asked who he was; the servant replied, "This is your master." Rebecca immediately covered her face and went out to meet him. Isaac later took her into his tent and she became his wife.

Lord, help us to be willing vessels when we know whatever has been provided is from you. Thank you for all you do for us.
