These first three chapters of Genesis are theologically some of the most important in the Scriptures. They supply the information about creation, the fall and the remedy. Eve frequently gets a bad rap because she is the first to disobey a divine command. But note that the command not to eat from the tree of life was given to Adam before she was created. In the New Testament Adam was always given the greater responsibility for the fall. Their disobedience is catastrophic. Humans feel the fallout. God will "reverse the curse" soon.
Thank you, Lord, for the boost we get from your Word about the ultimate outcome.
