We have enjoyed this ancient story of Noah's Ark, many of us from our childhood days. Noah obeyed God with a feat beyond imagination. Is there a lesson from this Scripture for us today that will give us fresh courage to keep focused on our God who has called us to himself? What are the things God has called you to do, some of which may seem to be impossible?

With God's calling comes the ability to obey. Is he calling you to forgive someone who has hurt or wronged you, or is it to go the extra mile to help someone in need? Our God is there to help us in any task, even the ones that seem beyond our ability. With his calling he enables us to walk it out just as he enabled Noah to accomplish a seemingly impossible task.

Thank you, Lord, for giving me the desire to obey you and the ability to walk it out.
