Waiting ... waiting ... waiting! Can you imagine living in that massive structure floating on water for an indefinite period of time?! Do you suppose Noah and his family ever felt trapped and hopeless? Can you imagine yourself in that ark with all those animals not knowing when and how it would end?

When you look at your own life today, do you ever feel trapped in your circumstances, hopeless with no end in sight? Remember Noah. God had a plan. He, too, has a good plan for your life and will bring you through - no matter what your circumstances are or how impossible they seem.

Lord, just as you delivered Noah, I am trusting you to deliver me from these difficult circumstances in my life. Thank you for the stories of old that give us examples of your faithfulness. Amen.
