The wicked love to mock with glee and derision when things go wrong for Christians who outwardly live their faith. I often wonder if perhaps Jesus' hardest temptation was the mocking and jeering derision he faced while hanging in agony on the cross. How tempted he must have been to call it off and come down from the cross. Job says here that the mocking is tough to take. What is one to do in face of this mocking? Jesus said, "Father, forgive them for they don't know what they are doing." OH LORD! Give me this heart and mind.
Psalm 130:5 - "I wait for the Lord, my soul waits and in his Word I put my hope."
