Whom shall I serve? The Scripture resonates this ... Today we often do not have our priorities in place to put God first. We can make idols of anything ... the computer, books, money, our spouse, our children. We must decide who gets top priority. God put us first when he sent HIS son to die on the cross for our sins.

I know I spend far too much time on the computer and other things and do not give God the priority he so aptly deserves. I have often said I should keep track of the amount of time I spend on the computer and make sure I give God at least that amount of time, also.

I think of our prayer time. We never get a busy signal when we approach his throne to talk. Why should we always be too busy for him?

Lord, may I truly make an effort in putting you first in my life. We too often say we do, but our life does not reflect that. Help this to be the desire of my heart. I love you, Lord, and want to show that more fully in my life.
