David, a man after God's own heart, was misjudged by his enemies for he remained truthful in his devotion to God even when things seemed to turn against him. In the times we live in we need to do the same. Those who listen to the news and believe that Christians are losing the battle need to be like David and find a source of joy in seeking God's leading even when the enemy seems to be winning.
Sadly, many Christians have fallen for the heath and wealth gospel, putting their faith in the things of this world. We must seek the wisdom that David showed in our peace in Christ and know the joy that lasts.
We know that no matter what happens we have total safety in putting our faith and future in God's hands.
Heavenly Father, help us to let your Holy Spirit lead us into joy and peace and share those same feelings with everyone we meet.
