The title fits the tone of the conversation recounted in the text as the Lord answers Job "from the storm." In God's answer, Job neither received a proclamation of his innocence, nor an explanation of why he faced such hardship. Instead, through a series of probing and pointed questions, God makes it clear that Job's attempts to understand Almighty God amounted to "words without knowledge." In effect, God suggests Job simply didn't know what he was talking about.
God simply illustrated his unique perspective and absolute dominion by his many questions of Job as to his whereabouts as the Lord created the universe and everything in it. Through the many iterations of "where were you," "tell me," "have you ever," and the like, God establishes that he alone is sovereign and that trusting in his knowledge of all things is the best understanding we can achieve. He knows the end from the beginning, and we ... do ... not. The God who created all that exists with such precision and order is worthy of our trust, especially when we do not understand our struggles.
Lord, forgive my lapses of faith in times of trouble and strengthen my heart with your peace.
