A Love Note?

When looking for verses on love in the Bible, would you include Job 7:17-18? The answer is yes. Who is man that God should love him? David asked this same question in Psalms 8:4 and 144:3. Paul again asks in Hebrews 2:6. God loves us so much that he created us in his image, created a beautiful place for us to live, and when we turned to sin, sent his son to save us. When times are hard and we are suffering, God does not leave us or forsake us. He loves us so much that he sent Jesus to die a torturous death to save us from our sins and the turmoil in this world. We do not always understand why God would allow us to suffer, if he truly loves us. But just like Job never turned from God, but rather to God, so we, too, must turn to God during times of trouble. The world is cursed because of man's choice to sin. Despite this choice, God loves us enough to be there for us when we suffer the consequences of this choice. Turn to God in good times and in trials. He is always there for you.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for loving me, and for the privilege of being your child. You are always near, watching and waiting for me to look to you. You hear my prayers and answer them according to your perfect will. I love you, Lord. In Jesus' name, amen.
